ON POOP
One of the things a new nurse is most scared of is touching poop. A big part of our job is changing bed clothes and nine times out of ten that’s going to mean dealing with feces. One of my first times involved projectile diarrhea…yes there is such a thing and it has a sound effect you hope you never hear again. I would like to say this part of the job gets easier as time goes on but I would be lying. I guess this will all come in handy if I ever have kids.
